1. Vocabulary: Love and Marriage
Key Terms:
- Wedding: A ceremony for a couple who is getting married.
- Groom: A man who is getting married. He often wears a suit.
- Bride: Awoman who is getting married. She often wears a white dress.
- Honeymoon: A vacation couples take after they get married.
- Anniversary: A celebration for each year of marriage.
- Reception: A big party with food and dancing after a wedding.
When two people fall in love, they may decide to get married. This is a special bond between people. After the wedding ceremony, they are husband and wife.

2.Grammar: Past Continuous
We use the Past Continuous (was/were + verb-ing) to talk about actions in progress at a certain time in the past.
Examples:
– I was sleeping when you called.
– They were watching TV all evening.
– She wasn’t working yesterday.
Exercise 2: Complete the Sentences
Fill in the blanks using the Past Continuous form of theverb in parentheses.

3. Grammar: Will / Won’t for Promises
We use will and won’t (will not) when we make promises or offers to someone.
Examples:
– “I will help you with your homework.” (Promise/Offer)
-“I won’t tell anyone your secret.” (Promise)
