Welcome to Unit 10! In this unit, we will use our imagination to create new stories and explore numbers. We will learn names for healthy foods like tomatoes, potatoes, plums, and grapes. When we read, it helps us understand and describe the world around us. We will also practice counting from one to ten.
Phonics Focus: We are learning the sounds for the letters j and qu. The letter j makes the sound you hear in jump and jug. The letters qu work together to make the sound in quick and quack. Look at these examples: Jim, jog, Jeb, quick, quilt.
Sight Words: Practice reading these special words: with and my. For example: “Come with me to my house.”

Match the word to its correct description or category. Write the correct letter on the line.
