Flashcard - Unit 6

Unit 6: I Can Describe People’s Behaviour

Key Ideas

This unit focuses on idioms and phrasal verbs used to describe helpful, supportive, selfish, bossy, confident, and manipulative behaviour. Selfless expressions include go out of your way, be there for someone, and give a helping hand. Selfish or difficult behaviour can be described with expressions such as have your own way, push people around, and walk all over someone. Advanced users should notice that many expressions carry strong emotional attitudes and are common in spoken English.
