Pam and Dad use pumpkin to make food. First, they make a pie crust and pie filling. Then they fill the crust and make a pie. After that, they still have extra pumpkin. They use the extra pumpkin to make cookies. There is still pumpkin left, so Dad says they can use it for breakfast. The story teaches us that people can use ingredients in many ways and try not to waste food.
