Grammar Theory: Pronouns and Possessives

Personal Pronouns replace nouns. Subject Pronouns (I, you, he,she, it, we, they) do the action. Object Pronouns (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) receive the action.

Possessives show ownership. Possessive Adjectives (my, your, his, her, its, our, their) come before a noun. Possessive Pronouns (mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs) stand alone.

Reflexive Pronouns (myself, yourself, etc.) are used when the subject and object are the same person.

Exercise 1: Subject and Object Pronouns

Grammar Theory: Determiners and Quantifiers

Demonstratives: Use this/these for things near you. Use that/those for things further away.

Quantifiers: Use some in positive sentences. Use any in negatives and questions. Use how much for uncountable nouns and how many for countable nouns.
