Grammar 1: Present Simple for Routines
Use
We use the present simple for routines, habits, and regular schedules.
Pattern:
Subject + base verb
Examples:

Remember
With he / she / it, add -s to the verb.

Use

Pattern:
Subject + can + verb

Negative Form
Subject + cannot (can't) + verb
- I can't finish today.
- We can't start the test now.
Worked Example 1
Situation: Anna studies engineering every morning.
Question: Which tense do we use?
Answer: Present simple.
Sentence: Anna studies engineering every morning.
Why? It is a regular routine.
