In this unit, you will learn simple words to share your opinions about different tech tools. You will also practice comparing two apps to say which one you like more.

Vocabulary: Words to Give Opinions
good – something you like or is nice
bad – something you do not like or is not good
easy – not difficult, simple
difficult – not easy, hard
fast – something that works quickly
slow – something that is not fast
new – recently made or created
old – not new, has existed for a long time
better – comparative form of good
worse – comparative form of bad
favorite – the thing you like most
interesting – something that catches your attention
useful – something that helps you
fun – enjoyable
Grammar: Comparisons
Comparatives
We use comparatives to say that one thing is different from another.
Form: adjective + -er or more + adjective
- This app is faster than that one.
- Python is easier than C++.
Superlatives
We use superlatives to say one thing is the best or most in a group.
Form: the + adjective + -est or the most + adjective
- JavaScript is the most popular programming language.
- This is the best app for learning English.
Demonstratives: this / that / these / those
We use these words to point to things:
- this – something near me (singular)
- that – something far from me (singular)
- these – things near me (plural)
- those – things far from me (plural)
Example: This laptop is faster than that computer.
