Target Vocabulary

1. true

Meaning: correct; not false.

Example: The answer is true.

Example: It is true that water is wet.

2. hundred

Meaning: the number 100.

Example: There are one hundred students.

Example: She has one hundred stickers.

3. against

Meaning: touching something or in opposition to something.

Example: The bike is against the wall.

Example: Our team played against another team.

4. pattern

Meaning: a design or arrangement that repeats.

Example: The shirt has a striped pattern.

Example: Red, blue, red, blue is a pattern.

5. numeral

Meaning: a symbol used to write a number.

Example: 5 is a numeral.
