1. far
Meaning: a long distance away.

2. cold
Meaning: not warm; low temperature.

Meaning: true; not fake.

Meaning: nearly; not completely.
Example: I am almost finished.
5. let
Meaning: allow someone to do something.

Using "far"
Subject + be + far + from + place

Worked Examples
Example 1
Sentence: The park is far from my home.
Question: Is the park near?
Answer: No. "Far" means it is a long distance away.
Example 2
Sentence: I am almost finished with my homework.
Question: Is the homework finished?
Answer: Not yet. "Almost" means nearly finished.
Example 3
Sentence: My teacher lets us ask questions.
Question: Does the teacher allow questions?
Answer: Yes. "Let" means allow.
